Cyber ​​Security Act does not include warrantless arrest

News Asia24 Desk: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Haque said that if there is no cognizable crime, there will be no warrantless arrest under the Cyber ​​Security Act. The Cyber ​​Security Act contains only four sections of cognizable offences.

He said this at the special extended meeting of South Union Awami League of Brahmanbaria Akhaura Upazila today Friday (September 15) at noon.

He said that the technical offense in the Cyber ​​Security Act is 14 years for hacking or if someone destroys something by breaking into the computer. but All the clauses in the Digital Security Act, which were objected to by journalists, have been radically changed.
