All 21 coaches of the train were derailed, 4 dead, hundreds injured

NewsAsia24 Desk: All 21 coaches of a train derailed in India. At least 4 people have been killed and hundreds of people have been injured till this news.

The accident took place when the train reached near Raghunathpur station yesterday (October 11) at 10 pm. The train was going from Bihar to Kamakhya. The name of the train is North East Express.

According to Indian media, four coaches derailed after the train crossed the Raghunathpur railway station in Bihar. Meanwhile, two coaches of the train climbed over each other.

After the incident, India’s National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) reached the spot around 11:30 pm.

Indian Railway authorities are yet to ascertain the cause of the train accident.

However, after investigation, it was found that all 21 coaches of the train were derailed. Of these, 4 compartments were the most damaged.
